Congratulations to Austin Gray, Director of Business Development, Home Healthcare, Phoenix, AZ

The MGA Home Healthcare team is happy to announce the promotion of Austin Gray to Director of Business Development, Phoenix, AZ.

Austin began his MGA journey in 2015 as Recruiter and transitioned to Client Service Manager before his subsequent promotion to Business Development Manager.

Prior to joining the MGA team, Austin studied political science at Arizona State University and was captain of their men’s lacrosse team. His love for athletics and knack for business spurred several lacrosse-based ventures post-college, including his 4-year stint as the head varsity lacrosse coach for Chaparral High School, where he earned Arizona Coach of the Year in 2015. While coaching, Austin was inspired to further serve kids in the local Scottsdale community with specialty lacrosse companies offering retail solutions and skill-enhancing training and travel programs.

After finishing the chapter on his lacrosse-focused endeavors, Austin interviewed with MGA Home Healthcare. He cites the ZOE/MGA leadership team and culture as determining factors in joining the company and, with his promotion, will be welcomed into these ranks.

According to Brett Costello, Chief Operating Officer for MGA’s home health division, Austin exemplifies core character traits and leadership skills that cannot be taught.

Brett Costello, Chief Operating Officer, MGA Home Healthcare said, “Austin’s deep-seeded work ethic, moral compass, and genuine disposition are contagious to everyone he encounters. His combination of these core values, quick-witted sense of humor, and natural ability to relate with people has resulted in the creation and strengthening of numerous relationships within the referral source community.”

In his new role as the director of business development, Austin will take on management duties and will guide the next generation of MGA leaders. In fact, he keeps the act of mentoring those nearest him at the heart of his work.

“I like to coach, I try to find out what people are good at, and then put them in situations where they can succeed,” said Gray.

When Austin, an Arizona-native and second oldest of six siblings, is not working at MGA, you can find him paper-scoring Diamondbacks games, golfing, or on a snow-ski vacation with his wife, Jami.
