MGA Homecare specializes in providing private duty nursing, personal care services, and therapy to the medically complex population. We deliver high-quality care in the home and community-based setting, the setting which is the lowest cost to the payers. We aim to be the employer of choice and the partner of choice to referral sources, state government agencies, and health plans. We currently provide care in Arizona, Colorado, Texas, North Carolina, Washington, and Tennessee with a plan to grow into new states and markets.

New Graduate Residency Program Summary:
The MGA New Graduate Residency Program will assist you in transitioning from a new graduate to a fully competent, professional nurse. We provide a collaborative learning environment in which you can refine your nursing skills, enhance your knowledge, and develop new personal and professional relationships. MGA is committed to providing the highest quality client care. With this program you will develop competency and skills to become versed in high acuity care, regardless of prior experience while creating lasting relationships through comradery and team collaboration. This program explores a combination of classroom setting instruction, hands-on skills training in simulation lab, and preceptorship with a nursing mentor in the home setting before beginning one-on-one client care.
This is a paid, full-time position for RNs and LPNs and includes 6 weeks of extensive training in the classroom, simulation, and clinical preceptorship in the home. Upon completion of training, the residency period will begin, offering mentorship with an experienced MGA clinician while the nurse working one-on-one with an MGA client in the home. During the new graduate program, the nurse must commit to working full time hours and understand the shift may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts to maintain the full-time schedule.

- Active RN or LPN License in good standing (required)
- No more than twelve (12) months of recent experience as a Nurse in a clinical care setting
