What about MGA made you think this job opportunity was a good fit for you?
“I’m joining the MGA team after more than 17 wonderful years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the adult and pediatric hospital settings, with most of my experience being in pediatrics.
Being a Speech-Language Pathologist has always been very rewarding and I’m excited to bring my experience and passion to my new position as Director of Therapy with the MGA Phoenix team! I see this as a very special opportunity to work together to build a strong therapy program for patients and their families within our community!
Also, I’m thrilled to be joining an incredible group of people who genuinely share the same passion, enthusiasm, and desire as me to help those in need and to teach/train others to do the same!”
What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
“Over the years, I acquired a number of skills that have allowed me to work with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses including those who are medically complex.
Making a difference in my patients lives by helping them communicate and eat/drink has been such a joy. I’ve also enjoyed working on program development, staff training, supervision, and co-treatments with occupational and physical therapists.”
What are your favorite activities outside of work?
“In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Kyle and our young, very active, and beautiful daughters Kenzie and Kassie.
Some of our favorite activities include swimming, biking, going to the gym/exercising, church activities, finding new restaurants to try, and following our favorite football and basketball teams!”
