Our experienced Occupational Therapists work with children at home or via telehealth. Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) work with children who have disabilities, impairments, or delays to help them increase the function and performance of daily living activities. They help each patient improve arm/hand strength, range of motion, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, as well as teach them how to play with toys, learn to dress, and become more independent with self-care skills. Our therapists also address patients’ sensory concerns such as over-sensitivity or inappropriate response to their sensory environment. They use “play” to improve foundational skills and to increase a child’s independence to help them live the best they can.
