Get paid to be a trained caregiver for YOUR child through Arizona’s new LHA Program.

We are excited to inform you about a new program that has been developed for Arizona residents.

The Licensed Health Aide Program (LHA) will allow family members to provide care, with pay, for their loved one who qualify for private duty nursing services.

MGA Homecare is an approved provider in Arizona with a comprehensive and custom training program. To discuss enrollment and classes please contact us today or complete the form below!

How does the LHA program work?

Arizona’s LHA program allows an adult family member of the pediatric patient to care for their loved one and receive pay for carrying out those duties. MGA Homecare will provide you with the proper training and resources you will need to become a Licensed Health Aide. We aim to be your trusted partner and support in your home care journey.

The care you will provide through this program includes, but not limited to:
  • Bathing
  • Incontinence care
  • Application of AFOs
  • Hair care
  • Meal prep
  • Transfers
  • Oral care and feeding
  • Dressing
  • G-tube-feeding and care
  • Toileting
  • Range of motion exercises
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Medication prep and administration

Will training be required?

The self-paced course you will take as part of your training, has been approved by the Arizona Board of Nursing. Your training will come from the help of MGA Homecare, an award-winning high quality homecare provider. The course is a hybrid model where the program is completed virtually, and the final written and skills exam are in-person. Once you have completed your course, you’ll be scheduled for orientation to become an MGA employee.
