Congratulations to April Loza, Clinical Supervisor, Phoenix, AZ

The MGA Home Healthcare team is pleased to announce the promotion of April Loza to Clinical Supervisor, Phoenix, AZ.

April began her nursing career with MGA in 2009 providing in-home pediatric care to medically fragile children. Two years later she went on to hone her skills with other distinguished organizations and facilities in the valley including Ryan House, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and Hospice of the Valley. In 2016 she returned to MGA as Clinical Educator bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and a great love for her profession – something April deems an invaluable quality of a home health nurse.

When asked about the demands and rewards of an educator position, April, a decorated United States veteran exclaimed, “challenges are the excitement!” Having served as a 63W Vehicle Mechanic for the Army National Guard before pursuing a nursing career, April knows firsthand that with challenge comes growth. April’s hard work and unique path have prepared her to embrace the new responsibilities of Clinical Supervisor as she continues to strive for powerful resources and solutions that promote the development and confidence of her team.

“April has a strong sense of focus in everything she does which shows in her care of our MGA patients and her willingness to help and grow her team. She is compassionate, tenacious and has a big heart. It is a joy to have team members like her.” – Katrine Atlung-Blair, Director of Clinical Services

April is currently studying to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing. In her downtime, she enjoys visiting with family and friends, time at the gym, and reading.
