The MGA Homecare office brings the well-known and respected MGA brand into the Pueblo, Colorado markets to build upon the success of the Colorado Springs and Denver locations.
Pueblo, CO (July 22, 2020) Today, MGA Homecare announced a new expanded office opening in the northern area of Pueblo. The opening will give MGA more opportunities to serve both the Colorado Springs market as well as dedicated pediatric clinicians in the Pueblo market.
“The Pueblo, Colorado office is excited to be able to offer Pediatric Nursing, Therapy, and CNA services in our new location,” said Casey Mastreno, Administrator – Pueblo “Being able to expand the Colorado Springs location and bring the services that MGA Homecare has to offer is an incredible achievement. I am looking forward to growing this office and staffing the best caregivers for our medically fragile and special needs clients.”
MGA Homecare Colorado Springs has been focused on serving the Metro area for years, having clinical staff work in both locations under the Colorado Springs office. MGA nurses have also been serving the Cañon City, Rye, Colorado City as well as Castle Rock, Larkspur, Palmer Lake, Monument, Peyton, Calhan, Falcon, Manitou Springs, Woodland Park, Fountain, Black Forest, Security-Widefield, Ft. Carson, Air Force Academy, Peterson AFB, and Schriever AFB areas successfully for years.
“When I look at the success MGA Homecare has had in the Colorado markets, we knew expanding in Pueblo was the logical move,” said Cal Critchfield, Area Vice President – Colorado “I’m excited to see Casey in the role of Administrator where he will use the knowledge he has gained as a Registered Nurse to ensure the Pueblo office continues to serve clients in need.”
This new office is a natural expansion for our growing company and will allow the brand to deepen its offerings in Pueblo and surrounding areas. Additionally, with this move, MGA Academy, our certified nursing assistant program, has also opened its Pueblo, Colorado location.
The Academy provides hands-on training in a medical setting to prepare students for healthcare employment opportunities. Classes include: Certified Nursing Assistant Programs, First Aid, and CPR.
The Pueblo Academy will be supervised by Dawn Carwell, Program Instructor. Dawn has over 10 years of home health nursing experience, along with experience in teaching CNA and Med Tech courses.
“Dawn is our newest instructor at MGA Academy, Pueblo location,” said Bianca Ortiz, Program Coordinator, MGA Academy “We are so excited to have found such a smart and passionate instructor to be a part as our team.”
Over the past year, the need for pediatric services within this area indicated a five percent increase over this time last year. With this increase in need, this office will be able to service the greater Pueblo area as well as going as far east as La Junta, Colorado.
Many MGA pediatric nurses and therapists already live in or around Pueblo and are intimately familiar with the neighborhood. Their compassion and integrity will be invaluable as they help the medically fragile clients through Pediatric Nursing, Therapy, and Certified Nursing Assistant process.
The new office will give clinicians the opportunity to provide an elevated level of service to their Pueblo clients and attract new clients with the northern location.
