MGA in the Community: Supporting Alpine Autism Center, Ronald McDonald House, Hearts for JJ Foundation, and Raising Special Kids

Join us in celebrating our #MGACommunity – an initiative aimed at highlighting our community involvement and charitable support.

Always a good time at Alpine Autism Center Golf Classic. Our MGA Home Healthcare team in Colorado Springs took to the tees at Eisenhower Golf Course this past Friday to sponsor the 18th Annual Golf Classic presented by our friends at Alpine Autism Center. Funds raised from this annual event provide access to treatment options for superhero kiddos affected by autism in the Pikes Peak Region, helping them reach their full potential.

Ronald McDonald Family Room. This week, MGA Home Healthcare team members in Austin, Texas happily lent their hands and hearts to Ronald McDonald House Charities’ Family Room initiative. Cindi, Drew, and Kevin spent their Tuesday afternoon delivering boxed lunches in an effort to support families at Dell Children’s who rely on this special-made space for a feeling of home at the hospital as they rest and regroup, close to their child’s ongoing care.

“JJ’s Off to School Drive”. It’s back-to-school time and MGA Denver had the privilege of participating in a very special supply drive dedicated to helping children in need for the 2018-2019 school year. The drive, organized by Hearts for JJ Foundation, worked to fill 200 backpacks with various school supply requests to be distributed to students in the Denver metro area during kindergarten registration.

A special thank you to all those who donated!

Raising Special Kids Symposium. MGA Home Healthcare is dedicated to improving outcomes for children with disabilities through our specialized services as well through our participation and sponsorship of industry-critical events like Raising Special Kids Symposium on Children with Special Health Care Needs. This year, MGA team members Harley and Rebeca were present to share MGA’s mission with other health professionals, experts, and family members as well as to learn and to serve our common goal of advocating for children with special medical needs.

Thank you to Raising Special Kids for their invaluable knowledge and ongoing training.
