MGA Homecare, a leading innovator in the Home Health industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Nolan King as the new Director of Payer Relations. Nolan brings a wealth of experience in healthcare management, with a strong background in Medicaid services, provider relations, and product design.
Nolan’s career began with a regional nursing home operator, where he gained extensive knowledge of Texas and Oklahoma Medicaid. He then moved to Amerigroup Texas, working in provider relations and network development for nearly four years. His most recent roles at UnitedHealthcare involved Complex Care Product Design and Medicaid Growth, focusing on RFP development.
Nolan chose to join MGA Homecare due to their commitment to innovation in Home Health. “Most people would agree that, if possible, they’d like to receive healthcare in their home. Capitalizing on the work done with UHC in product design and workforce development, I hope to continue that work with MGA, and bring in strategies and partnerships to ensure the highest quality care is given,” said Nolan.
In his new role, Nolan is excited to innovate with a team passionate about improving healthcare. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, playing ultimate frisbee, and spending time with his family. His dedication to high-quality care and collaboration will be invaluable to MGA’s mission.
Nolan is inspired by the belief that everyone deserves the highest quality care possible and strives to be a collaborative problem-solver in the healthcare industry. His favorite motivational quote by Gary Frey, “A servant is not to be concerned with how they are perceived. They are to be concerned with serving. Go serve them,” reflects his commitment to serving others.
Welcome to the team, Nolan!
