We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our MGA family, Britta Emenecker, who will be stepping into the role of Director of Employee Relations. Britta brings over twelve years of diverse experience in Human Resources and investigative work within corporate, non-profit, and healthcare settings. Her journey has been guided by exceptional mentors who have instilled in her the values of coaching, development, and kindness.
Britta’s career path has been nothing short of inspiring. In her most recent role, she led the employee relations program at an academic health system in Southern Colorado. Her decision to join MGA was driven by our leadership team’s commitment to compassionate care and a culture of integrity, performance, and collaboration. “I was incredibly impressed with the leadership team here at MGA during my interview process. It was evident that MGA is deeply committed to compassionate care for fragile patients and also to a culture where integrity, strong performance, and collaboration are valued,” she shared.
Britta is eager to support our employees and be a resource throughout the organization. She believes her purpose is to take care of the people who take care of our patients, a sentiment that aligns perfectly with MGA’s mission. “I am excited to work with this incredible team to continue to make MGA the best place to work,” she said.
Outside of work, Britta enjoys the beautiful landscapes of Colorado with her family, skiing and camping being her favorite activities. She finds inspiration in knowing she can positively impact someone’s life through her work. Her favorite quote by Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” deeply resonates with her approach to employee relations.
Britta also values the importance of understanding and empathy in leadership. “Seek first to understand, then to be understood,” a quote by Stephen Covey, is a guiding principle in her work. She looks forward to the journey ahead at MGA, building relationships, and providing unwavering support to our team.
Britta believes in balancing work and personal life by investing time in relationships and activities that bring joy. Whether it’s spending time with her husband, children, and two Labrador retrievers, or unwinding with a Hallmark movie, she knows the importance of self-care.
