Job Description

Business Development Manager Responsibilities

  • Drive new business opportunities in the Nashville market through market research, strategic outreach, and relationship building with key decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet sales goals and revenue growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client networks, leveraging connections to secure meetings and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailored proposals addressing client needs.
  • Manage client retention by enhancing relationships and introducing new services.
  • Represent MGA Homecare at industry events, providing insights on trends and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, forecast sales, and ensure targets are met.
  • Deliver business development training to staff, promoting team alignment with company goals.
  • Uphold MGA’s mission, ethics, and professional standards in all activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 1-3 years of lead generation or inside sales experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with Tricare facilities or pediatric referral sources.
  • Background in healthcare, medical devices, software, or pharmaceuticals is a plus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  • Independent, goal-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic and problem-solving ability.
  • Flexible team player who adapts to shifting priorities and supports others as needed.
