Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Training and Education: Provide instruction and training on clinical skills and procedures during the initial hiring process and continuously as needed, with an emphasis on the professional development of field staff.
  • Supervision of Home Care Personnel: Oversee the performance of all assigned home care staff, ensuring compliance with state guidelines and regulations.
  • Coordination of Patient Care: Facilitate effective communication to ensure the seamless implementation of each patient’s Plan of Care.
  • Supervision of Field Nurses: Directly supervise field LPNs and RNs, ensuring adherence to state-specific guidelines and best practices.
  • Support and Guidance: Offer support, guidance, and education to patients, their families, and caregivers to promote optimal physical and emotional well-being.
  • Mandatory Reporting: Identify and report any observed or suspected patient abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate authorities as required by law for health professionals.

Qualifications

  • Action Tennessee Registered Nurse License in good standing (required)
  • Current BLS CPR card and Current Health Certificate as applicable
  • A minimum of two years of nursing experience in a Home Health or Acute setting (preferred)
  • Pediatric Care (preferred)
