  • Compensation is dependent on experience, tenure, and caseload volume. 

  • The bottom range indicates little to no experience at typical starting rates, reaching full time status at 20 visits completed weekly. 

  • The top range indicates highly skilled and experienced clinicians surpassing the full-time minimum requirement of 20 visits completed weekly.

As an MGA Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you can expect:

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions to pediatric patients (birth to 21). 

  • Treat all assigned patients according to goals set by evaluating Physical Therapist (PT). 

  • Communicate progress and milestones with evaluating PT to allow for proper plan development, implementation, and treatment modifications in accordance with patient needs. 

  • Instruct and counsel patients and families. 

  • Complete accurate and timely documentation according to standards set by the department and regulatory agencies. 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • An associate degree from an accredited therapy program 

  • Active state licensure as required. 

  • Current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant License is required.
  • New graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Current BLS CPR Certification per state regulations 

  • Licensed to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state.
