Pediatric Therapy

Pediatric Therapy

At MGA Homecare, we're committed to helping you and your family the best way we know how. That's why we offer specialized occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy services within the comfort of your home. Our team of caring therapists are dedicated to helping your child improve the quality of their daily lives. These services are only offered at our Austin, Colorado Springs, Denver and Pueblo locations.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists work with children who have disabilities, impairments or delays to help them increase function and performance of daily living activities. They help each patient improve arm/hand strength, range of motion, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, as well as teach them how to play with toys, learn to dress and become more independent with self-care skills. Our therapists also address patients' sensory concerns such as over-sensitivity or inappropriate response to their sensory environment. They use “play” to improve foundational skills and to increase a child’s independence to help them live the best as they can. At MGA Homecare, it's our goal to help our patients however we can to function at their best and feel their best.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapists help children overcome motor deficits to achieve functional independence. Our therapists work to help their patients with postural control, gait training, endurance and other physically ailing conditions such as Torticollis. At MGA Homecare, our goal is to increase participation in daily activities, facilitate motor development, improve strength and range of motion and enhance learning opportunities. Nothing compares to seeing the joy on our patients' faces when they make improvements in their physical abilities. Our therapists work hard to make those special moments happen every day.

Speech-Language Pathology

We offer pediatric therapy to help children who struggle with speech and language barriers. A speech-language pathologist (SLP) evaluates and treats children who have difficulty with speech, language, oral motor, feeding and other challenges. Specifically, they treat Articulation, Phonology, Apraxia, and Expressive Language challenges alongside other Oral-Motor challenges like weak tongue, lip, cheek, and/or jaw muscles and swallowing/feeding. At MGA Homecare, our speech-language pathologists are carefully selected to assist every patient as best as possible and help them feel comfortable and confident in their speech abilities.
